  • Japanese Design Today 100

    This traveling exhibition, “Japanese Design Today 100,” is a selection of approximately 100 of the finest examples of Japanese design created between the 1990s and the present, focusing on products used in everyday life.  Through this exhibition, we hope that we could not only introduce recent trends and features of the Japanese designs but also offer some insights into the nature of Japanese culture of today.

  • Public Lecture on Japanese Studies by Professor URATA Shujiro

    The Japan Foundation, Kuala Lumpur (JFKL) and Malaysian Association of Japanese Studies (MAJAS) organize a series of public lecture on Japanese Studies annually.  This year, in collaboration with University of Malaya and Universiti Sains Malaysia, we are inviting Professor URATA Shujiro, Professor of Economics at Graduate School of Asia-Pacific Studies, Waseda University as the guest speaker for the said lecture series.  Theme of the public lecture for this year will be “Regional Economic Integration in East Asia and Japan’s FTA Policy”.
