“DEMON POND” the pond in Echizen (Fukui prefecture), surrounded by the mountains of Mikuni Pass. A Dragon God is sealed in the pond, unless the bell near the pond is rung three times everyday, the Dragon God will go on a wild rampage and the village will suffer a great flood. The man and wife who tended the bell lived peacefully and happily…but their peaceful life suddenly came to an end as the world of fantasy and mystery develops.

Admission/Bookings: FREE admission. Prior booking is required by registering HERE. (Ticket bookings start on 17 April 2026 at 9:00 AM).

LIMITED TO 2 BOOKING PER PERSON ONLY. Please book only if you are confirmed to attend. As tickets are limited, no-shows might be blacklisted from participating in future screenings.

Screening in Japanese with English subtitles.

METHOD OF BOOKING

Book your tickets at https://www.cloudjoi.com/shows/5626-the-weekend-japanese-film-show-in-april-demon-pond/ or scan the QR code on the poster.
Fill in your details, number of pax (max 2 per person), and preferred session.
Once you complete your booking, you will receive a confirmation email and a digital ticket with a QR code (1 person 1 QR) from CloudJoi.

As tickets are limited, no-shows might be blacklisted from participating in future screenings. You may write to kl_info@jpf.go.jp or contact WhatsApp +6019-322 3329 (Hannah) to cancel your booking.
Bring the digital ticket with the QR code (screenshot/printout/email) to our registration table on the day of the screening. We will need to scan it to verify your booking. Do not scan the QR at the GSC autogates.
After scanning, a mini-sheet about the film will be handed out. This sheet acts as proof for entrance into the GSC hall.
- Ticket bookings will start on 17 April (Friday) 2026 at 9:00AM.
- Registration counter opens 30 minutes before each showtime.
