The Japan Foundation, Kuala Lumpur (JFKL) offers the grant to support activities which promote, introduce and deepen understanding of Japan, its language and culture, as well to support projects which encourage multilateral cultural exchange between Malaysia, Singapore and Brunei and Japan.For more details please click here.

|1||Basic Training Program for Teachers of the Japanese-Language
This program is a six months program designed for teachers who are early in their career with an opportunity to improve their
Japanese language skills, acquire the basic teaching methodology, and deepen their knowledge of Japan. This program was
conducted as “Long-Term Training Program for Teachers of the Japanese-Language” until FY 2018.

This program is a six weeks program designed to provide an opportunity to improve their Japanese language skill which is
necessary as teachers of Japanese language and deepen their knowledge of Japanese society and culture.
|Japanese-Language Program for Specialists|
|3||Program for Specialists in Cultural and Academic Fields
This program is designed to provide specialists (researchers, postgraduate students, librarians, museum curators, etc.) who
need a good command of the Japanese language to conduct field work and research through an intensive residential training
course on the Japanese language.
