The Japan Foundation invites individuals and organizations that are planning international exchange projects and activities to participate in grant programs of the Japan Foundation. Successful applicants are provided with grants, research scholarships and other forms of support.
The Japan Foundation supports Japanese-language education overseas with the aims of: to enhance mutual communication between Japan and other nations, to foster cross-cultural understanding and, to form a basis for deepening other nations’ understanding of Japan. Programs are open to public applications and include: training programs for teachers and other specialists, and grant programs for foreign organizations.
