The film show returns to with a series of screenings from November with popular titles from previous instalments of the Japanese Film Festival and JFF Plus: Online Festival! Check out the titles and dates below to book your tickets now!

Story: Akio wishes he had a better relationship with his reserved father Akira. One day Akira suddenly quits his job and retires without giving out any explanation to the family. Thinking it could be a good tool to be close to his father, Akio gives him software of online game “Final Fantasy XIV”. By teaching his father how to play the game and secretly interacting with him as an anonymous online avatar, Akio hopes to know his father better through the adventures with other players in the game; little does the young man know what Akira is going through…

Story: Nobata Nanase who is in the 4th grade at a university lives with her father, Kei but they don’t really have a very good relationship between each other. Kei is the CEO of a pharmaceutical company. One day, Kei drinks a drug which is supposed to make him die and come back to life 2 days later. He did this because he wants to figure out who is trying to steal from his company, but something goes wrong. Kei somehow appears again as a ghost. Nanase then tries to bring him back to life with help from Matsuoka Taku who works at Kei's pharmaceutical company.

Story: Teen music romance featuring singing and instrumental scenes with a fresh cast of young actors. College student Sota picks up a cassette tape left behind by musician Aki when he died a year ago. When the tape is played back, Aki takes over Sota's body for just 30 minutes. They share the same body and rush to reunite a band that split up and bring a smile to Aki's girlfriend Kana's face.

Step 3: Fill up the form and click on ‘COMPLETE REGISTRATION’.
ステップ3: フォームに必要事項を記入し、「COMPLETE REGISTRATION」をクリックして下さい。

Step 4: An e-ticket will be sent to you via email. Please bring this e-ticket with you on the day of the screening. You can print out the e-ticket or show the JFKL staff-on-duty the e-ticket on your phone.
ステップ4: E-チケットがE-メールにて送付されます。上映会当日はこちらのチケットを印刷してお持ち下さい。印刷が不可能な場合は、受付係員にチケットが分かる状態の携帯電話などをご提示下さい。

  1. Each person is allowed to register up to TWO pax only (including yourself).
    お一人様2席までの予約とさせていただいております。
     
  2. Each screening has limited seatings. Kindly ensure that you have registered and have received the e-ticket via email.
    座席数には限りがございます。事前にご予約の上、Eメールにてお送りするE-チケットをご確認下さい。
  3. Those without an e-ticket will not be permitted entry.
    ご予約頂いていない方のご入場はお断りさせて頂きます。

  FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQ)  

  1. I have a friend/relative who would like to come along. Should we register separately or can I register for him/her as well?
    You are allowed to book a ticket for a maximum of two people under your name. Both of you must be present with an e-ticket on the day of the screening in order to enter the auditorium.
     
  2. How about if two or more people wanted to join me?
    They would have to register separately.
     
  3. Do I need to have an Eventbrite account to register?
    No, you don’t have to. Just choose your desired session and fill up the registration form to obtain your e-ticket.
     
  4. When is the last day to register?
    There is no deadline for registration. Registration will be open till the day of the screening or when all available e-tickets have been redeemed, whichever comes first.
     
  5. I have registered and attended the previous screening. Do I still need to register for the next one?
    Yes, you must register for each new screening and bring along the relevant e-ticket.
     
  6. I registered but just found out that I cannot make it anymore. Can I transfer my ticket to a friend/relative?
    Yes, you may but you would need to first inform us via email or phone so that we can change the details in our system.
     
  7. How about if I would like to cancel my registration?
    Please inform us via email or phone as well. Your e-ticket could go to someone else who may have missed out on a seat!
     
  8. I’d like to attend the screening but the e-tickets have all ran out. What should I do?
    Please send us an email or give us a call. We will inform you if there are any cancellations one day before the screening.
