The Japan Foundation has opened applications to its annual programmes providing both financial and practical support to individuals and organisations involved in international exchange activities. Beneficiaries stand to be awarded grants, research scholarships and other means of assistance.
Deadline for application falls on December 1, 2014 except for “Support Programme for Translation and Publication on Japan”, which falls on November 19, 2014.
The Japan Foundation Kuala Lumpur serves as the local office for Malaysia, Singapore and Brunei. Interested parties in these three countries are encouraged to contact us directly for application submission and further enquiries.

Screening is carried out from the following perspectives across the board for all programmes:
1. Need for the Japan Foundation to provide support/implement the project
2. Feasibility and effectiveness of the project
3. Validity of the proposed budget
