Now it is time for Otsukimi, moon viewing. It is a tradition dating from the Heian Period (794-1192). In Japan we celebrate Otsukimi on 15th August of the lunar calendar. We will hold a tea ceremony hosted by Ms TAKANO, an instructor of Urasenke, to celebrate Otsukimi and share this tradition with Malaysian people.
