The 17th Japanese Film Festival

The annual Japanese Film Festival, JFF 2020 PLUS ONE which was set to return in late January 2021 is now cancelled.

This is ever due to the high new daily COVID-19 cases and the extension of the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) in several states. The Japan Foundation, Kuala Lumpur (JFKL) has come to the decision to cancel this much anticipated festival after much consideration and stands firm on the belief that it is best to safeguard the safety and health of our loyal fans and movie-goers.

We have put in our best effort to run the annual festival at GSC, including postponing it three times since October 2020. We would like to thank you for your support and we will be keeping you posted on any updates on our future events.

Till then, take care and stay safe!
