DESCRIPTION:\n\nAfter Georgetown Literary Festival (GTLF)\, the Japan Foundation\, Kuala Lumpur (JFKL) is inviting KAWAGUCHI Toshikazu to Kuala Lumpur for a special talk session "PUBLIC TALK: LIFE of KAWAGUCHI TOSHIKAZU”!\n\nConsidered as one of the most prominent writers of Japan\, KAWAGUCHI Toshikazu is a novelist\, screenwriter\, and theatre director. His debut work "Before the coffee gets cold" was nominated for the Bookstore Awards 2017 and was made into a movie in 2018. The series has sold 1.4 million copies in Japan\, over 500\,000 copies in Italy\, and over 250\,000 copies in Taiwan\, and is on the best-selling list in the United Kingdom and the United States.\n\nDuring the session\, he will be sharing about his journey in becoming a novelist\, the thought process that goes into his works\, and also how he came up with the “special rules” in his novels.
