He earned his Bachelor’s degree in East Asian Studies in 2015 and a Master’s degree in Economics and Administration in 2018\, both from Universiti Malaya. He has been an active member of the Malaysian Association of Japanese Studies (MAJAS) since 2022.\n\nMuhsein’s research primarily focuses on management and behavioral sciences within the context of Japanese Studies. His academic contributions include presentations at the JSA-ASEAN Conference held in Chiang Mai in 2023 and in Vientiane\, Laos in 2025\, where he shared insights on localization practices and organizational behavior in Japanese companies in Malaysia.\n\nAt The Japan Foundation\, he was a recipient of the Travel Support for Scholars program in Kathmandu\, Nepal\, where he joined four other Malaysian scholars at the AAS in Asia Conference\, fostering collaboration and research excellence. He also served as a speaker in the Roundtable Session for young scholars at the Japanese Studies Essay Contest & Mentorship Program 2025 at UKM\, as well as at the Japan-Malaysia Dialogue at USM.\n\nBeyond conferences\, Muhsein actively contributes to scholarly publications on Japan-Malaysia relations and collaborates extensively with Universiti Malaya on research projects\, reflecting his commitment to advancing understanding in his field.
