No new registrations will be accepted.\n\nMalaysians would not want to miss this opportunity to attend a Japanese tea ceremony. Soak in the atmosphere of this centuries-old tradition that is at once an art form\, a spiritual discipline\, a platform for socialisation\, and a window on Japanese culture. Guests will have a first-hand experience of the ceremony\, and can enjoy a seasonal sweet and a cup of matcha (powdered green tea).\nThe tea ceremony is held in conjunction with Hinamatsuri. Otherwise known as Girls’ Day and celebrated annually on 3 March\, the festival sees families in Japan wishing for the happiness and healthy growth of their young daughters.\nDuring this period\, households would set up multi-tiered and red-carpeted platforms to display ornamental dolls that are dressed in traditional court attire.
