SUMMARY:Field Trip Asia
DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column width="1/6"][/vc_column][vc_column width="2/3"][vc_column_text]Field Trip Asia is a community based project exhibition related to environmental sustainability\, disaster in heritage sites and creative strategies for place-making to respond to these challengers.  Using the Japanese school student’s backpack as trope\, the project bridges artists with public\, involving them as participants through the concept of field trip. It has been travelled to Singapore NIE Art Gallery\, Vargas Museum in the Philippines (supported by Asia Center Grants) and Acheh Tsunami Museum in Indonesia and now they would like to bring it to Malaysia throughout Kuala Lumpur Biennale.\n\nVenue: National Visual Art Gallery\nDuration: 18 November 2017 to 31 March 2018\n\n12 artists will be participating in this project which are Jeffery Lim\, Azmyl Yunor\, Xeem Noor\, Zie Rosli\, Haboor Hussain\, Kamal Sallehuddin\, KL Public Art Map\, Buku Jalanan TITI\, Buku Jalanan Chow Kit\, KL Stech Nation\, Popek Popek and Eat\, Shoots and Roots.\n\n \n\n*Field Trip Asia is one of the grant recipients under The Japan Foundation Asia Center .\n\n \n\n[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width="1/6"][/vc_column][/vc_row]
