DESCRIPTION:[vc_row css=".vc_custom_1655790161490{margin-bottom: 30px !important;}"][vc_column width="1/6"][/vc_column][vc_column width="2/3"][vc_column_text]\nNow in its third year\, DPAC's annual season-closing event sees artists from six countries gathered together for an exciting range of performances\, workshops and other fringe programmes. Their choreography has won them the Grand Prix at Dance Summit 2013\, 1st place at Dance Creation Award 2014\, the Sibiu International Theatre Festival Prize and the Touchpoint Art Foundation Prize at the Yokohama Dance Collection EX 2015.\nNaoto Katori was born in 1986 in Chiba Prefecture\, Japan. He is attached to various collectives such as The Condors and The Building Troupes. He started dancing at university\, where he came under the tutelage of Ryohei Kondo and Shintoro Hirahara. His work is primarily informed by the explosive power and forceful jumps he acquired from ballet. Katori recently became active in dance education and regularly runs workshops for elementary school students.\nIkumi Kurosu was born in 1987 in Saitama Prefecture\, Japan. In addition to his own pieces\, he also performs the work of other choreographers as a member of the Baby Q Troupe. Her choreographic oeuvre has made appearances at such art events as Tari International Dance Festival\, Guangdong Modern Dance Festival\, Malaysia Dance Festival\,CONTACT Contemporary Dance Festival\, and Malaysia International Performing Arts Village.\nIn 2010\, one of her pieces\, No Exit\, was selected as among 18 semi-finalists at the 5th No Ballet International Choreography Competition in Ludwigshafen\, Germany. She has performed and participated in dance exchange programmes in Singapore\, Indonesia\, Hong Kong\, China\, Taiwan\, Japan\, Netherlands\, and Germany. Among her honours are the Best Performer (Dance) prize at the 4th Annual BOH Cameronian Arts Awards 2005 and a nomination in the Rolex Mentor andProtg Arts Initiative (Dance) 2012/2013.\n[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][/vc_section]\n
