Un Yamada\, ASWARA\, and The Japan Foundation\, Kuala Lumpur\nEarlier this year\, Co. Un Yamada held a show titled A City Without Seasons in the two Japanese cities of Itami and Tokyo. First performed in 2012\, it was re-staged to commemorate the 50th anniversary since the death of Shugoro Yamamoto\, the renowned author of the eponymous novel. As the choreographer and director of the dance play\, Un Yamada drew inspiration from both Yamamoto's work as well as Akira Kurosawa's cinematic adaptation Dodes'ka-den.\nTo further mark the occasion\, Yamada will be bringing A City Without Seasons to Malaysia this coming October\, this time featuring a mixed cast of Malaysian and Japanese performers.\nDates & Venues of the Project\nAuditions\n4 & 5 August 2017 (candidates only have to attend either one of these dates)\n2.30 p.m.5.30 p.m.\nVenue to be confirmed\nRehearsals\n219 October\, 2017\nEight hours a day\nStudios in Kuala Lumpur (to be confirmed)\nPerformances (to be confirmed)\nFriday\, 20 October 2017\, 8.30 p.m.\nSaturday\, 21 October 2017\, 8.30 p.m.\nSunday\, 22 October 2017\, 2.30 p.m.\nPentas 1\, The Kuala Lumpur Performing Arts Centre (klpac)\nSelection Criteria\n1.
