The Asian Literature Project "YOMU" (meaning "read") is now underway\, spinning the stories of daily lives of people in Asia—their joys\, hardships and resilience—through the eyes of authors in respective countries.\nIn collaboration with emerging writers in Southeast Asia and India\, the project will post their new literary works in English\, Japanese and local languages of their own. How has the act of reading itself changed as the ways people connect with each other become more varied\, for instance with the increasing use of social media? The project will also feature stories and reports which illustrate diversity and vigor of reading culture in each country that richly reflects the present state of its society and culture.\n\nThe 4 writers from Malaysia joining this project are Nadia Khan\, Terence Toh\, Li Zi Shu and M. Navin.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width="1/6"][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width="1/3"][/vc_column][vc_column width="1/3"][vc_column_text css=".vc_custom_1655427867883{margin-top: 30px !important;border-top-width: 3px !important;border-right-width: 3px !important;border-bottom-width: 3px !important;border-left-width: 3px !important;border-left-color: #7961ab !important;border-left-style: solid !important;border-right-color: #7961ab !important;border-right-style: solid !important;border-top-color: #7961ab !important;border-top-style: solid !important;border-bottom-color: #7961ab !important;border-bottom-style: solid !important;}"]\nRead the stories by\nthe 4 Malaysian writers here!\n[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width="1/3"][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row css=".vc_custom_1655427900223{margin-top: 20px !important;margin-bottom: 80px !important;}"][vc_column width="1/6"][/vc_column][vc_column width="2/3"][vc_column_text css=".vc_custom_1655427848194{margin-top: 30px !important;}"]\nClick here to find out more about this project in other countries.\n[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width="1/6"][/vc_column][/vc_row] URL:https://www.jfkl.org.my/events/asian-literature-project-yomu/ CATEGORIES:Others ATTACH;FMTTYPE=image/jpeg:https://www.jfkl.org.my/wp-content/uploads/2022/06/1696_ext_01_0.jpeg ORGANIZER;CN="Organized%20By%20JFKL":MAILTO:Email END:VEVENT END:VCALENDAR
