Established in 2007\, it aims to honour comic artists who contribute to the continued popularity of manga overseas and is considered the world's most prestigious accolade for non-Japanese professionals.\nMany Malaysians have found success at the competition; namely two-time Silver Award-winner Ben Wong (for Atan in 2014 andLe. Gardenie in 2007)\, ZINT (2013 Bronze Award for User\, Volume 1)\, Puyuh and Core (2012 Bronze Award for From the Netherworld: Tales of Terror!)\, Neko (2011 Bronze Award for Ice Cream Baby)\, Tan Zien Yun and Sherlock (2011 Bronze Award for X-Venture: Terror Raptor)\, and Keith Chong (2007 Bronze Award for Wasabi).\nPrize\n1. The best manga among the submitted works will be presented with the Gold Award. Three runners-up will be given the Silver Award.\n2. Gold and Silver Award winners will be invited to Japan to attend the award ceremony.
