SUMMARY:7th Asian Cartoon Exhibition
DESCRIPTION:[vc_row css=".vc_custom_1655346859553{margin-bottom: 50px !important;}"][vc_column width="1/6"][/vc_column][vc_column width="2/3"][vc_column_text]“Getting a Job in Asia”\nCartoon fans will once again have the opportunity to enjoy the works of popular Asia cartoonists through the 7th Asian Cartoon Exhibition.\nFor your enjoyment and food for thought\, eight leading cartoonists from eight Asian nations \, including Malaysia (represented by Mr.Chan Yu Loong\, with his pen name Genesis) have produced a total of 80 new cartoons on the subject of the employment scene in their respective nations. We hope that while visitors grin and grimace at the realities of life\, they will also be able to guffaw at follies of the working world and. It is also hoped that this exhibition contributes to the visitors’ broader understanding of today’s Asia.\nAs in past years\, after traveling throughout Japan\, works from this exhibition will be featured in Malaysia\, Korea\, China\, India\, Indonesia\, The Philippines and Thailand. We look forward to interacting as well as inspiring the experiences of audiences in these nations.\nWe are also pleased to present the 7th Asian Cartoon Exhibition\, with the theme “Getting a Job in Asia” this year as one of the commemorative events marking the 30th anniversary of the Japan Foundation.\nYang Berbahagia Dato’ Lat will officiate the opening ceremony on the KL exhibition at the National\nLibrary on Friday 17 October at 9.30am.\nWith the support of the Embassy of Japan\, these exhibitions are jointly organized by the Japan Foundation\, National Library\, Kuala Lumpur\, Perak Malaysian-Japanese Friendship Society\, State Library at Perak\, The Consulate-General of Japan at Kota Kinabalu\, and Sabah Art Gallery.\nThe dates and venues of the exhibition are as follows:\nIPOH\nDate : (Mon) 15 Sep  ?
