About the Contest:
Skit Contest 2019 is a team competition for Japanese language learners where contestants produce a skit in video format in Japanese language and will compete on skit contents, cinematography and creativity.

Objective:

The objective of the contest is to enhance Japanese language communicative competence among non-native Japanese language learners in Malaysia.

Theme of the SKIT: 中
 All video skit contents must clearly depict this theme and use the Japanese language creatively so as to portray this message across. 

Eligibility:
This contest is open to all Japanese language learners in Malaysia aged 17 years old and above, who are currently attending Japanese language classes in Malaysia either at college, university, preparatory centres, language centres or any educational institutions. The team must not be more than ten (10) members, including both cast and crew. Japanese language teachers and native Japanese speakers (whose mother tongue is Japanese) are not eligible.  

Contest Procedure:
The video must be uploaded on YouTube through the competing team's account as an unlisted video. Skit scripts are not required for submission. Entry form must be submitted online at URL:  https://bit.ly/2JcsGFc  by 30th October 2019.

Rules and Regulations:
Please click here to view the full version of the 2019 Japanese Skit Contest's rules and regulations. The participating video must be uploaded on YouTube before the closing day through the Competing Team's account as an "unlisted" video.


Results:
The judges will view all skits on 23rd November 2019 together with representatives from each team via Zoom video conference. During the conference, the judges and participants can interact with each other. Details about the video conference will be provided to each competing teams beforehand.
