2013 Japanese Skit Contest for University and College Students
Theme: ‘ASEAN and Japan’
Creatively storm up a story,
upload and put them all down in a script!
*This guideline must be read together with the “2013_Skit_Contest_Rules_and_Regulations”.
Participating team members must be:
A current student at a university/ college in Malaysia at the time of application;
A non-native Japanese speaker whose neither parents is a Japanese;
(a) Each applicant group must perform their short drama in a maximum five (5) member team.
(b) University/ College may only recommend a maximum of three (3) groups. However:
(i) Different campuses or faculties of a university/ college may each recommend up to three (3) applicant groups.
(ii) In addition Japanese language/ cultural clubs officially recognized by a university/ college each may recommend only one (1) group.
3. Video, Theme and Manuscript
(a) Video must be not more than 10 minutes length.
(b) Theme: ‘ASEAN and Japan’ – All videos must clearly depict this theme.
(c) Manuscript submitted must be an original work of the Contesting Group and has not been presented in any contest or event before. The manuscript MUST be written in Japanese language. “Romaji” is also acceptable.
(d) The Japan Foundation, Kuala Lumpur reserves the rights for all entries received.
(a) Videos must be uploaded on YouTube through the Contesting Group’s account as an “unlisted” video. Video that is set “Public” under Privacy Settings is not accepted.
(b) Manuscript together with a completed Application Form must be submitted to The Japan Foundation, Kuala Lumpur.
(c) All videos, manuscripts and application form have to be uploaded and submitted by the dateline 2nd December 2013.
Judges’ decision is final. The announcement of the result of the contest will be posted on The Japan Foundation, Kuala Lumpur’s website by the end of December 2013.
All costs incurred for the submission of the Entry Form and manuscript shall be borne by the Contesting Group(s).
